COMPANY HISTORY

G.S. Way Services, LLC was founded in 2021, after owner & CEO, Gary Pickens, retired as a Lieutenant of the Detroit Fire Department.

After 30 years of fighting fires and serving as a first responder in the city of Detroit, Lieutenant Pickens felt it was the right time to make a shift.

Seeing the dire need for truck drivers all over the country due to the permeating effects of the COVID-19 epidemic, Pickens decided to purchase his first semi-truck and service the public yet again in another important way; transporting and freight hauling.
